Strykers Bring the Heat to River Heights Career Expo

The energy was electric at River Heights Intermediate yesterday morning as the Empire Strykers teamed up with local students for the annual River Heights Career Expo. From 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM, the campus in Eastvale was buzzing with excitement, embodying the event’s powerful theme: " Explore. Connect. Inspire. Your Future Starts Here!”

Bringing the thrilling world of professional indoor soccer straight to the next generation, the Strykers set up a dynamic booth that instantly became a hotspot for curious and motivated students. Representatives from the organization were on hand to pull back the curtain on what it takes to succeed in professional sports, both on and off the turf.

Throughout the two-hour event, students flooded the Strykers' booth to learn about the wide array of career paths within a professional sports franchise. The team shared first-hand knowledge of their professional journeys, proving that a passion for athletics can translate into incredible real-world careers in sports management, marketing, athletic training, and professional sports journalism. By speaking in plain, relatable language, the Strykers helped students see how their current interests can form the foundation for a successful future.

The interactive booth gave intermediate students a unique look at the dedication, teamwork, and business savvy required to run an elite sports organization. It was an inspiring morning of mentorship, laughter, and high-fives, leaving the students energized about the possibilities ahead. The Empire Strykers are incredibly proud to support the Eastvale community and help shape the futures of these bright, young minds as they prepare to make their own big impact on the world.
