PROS MEET PARISH: Empire Strykers Bring Inspiration to St. Margaret Mary School Soccer Challenge

Empire Strykers Bring Inspiration to St. Margaret Mary School Soccer Challenge

CHINO, CA — The Knights of Columbus Council #15339 annual Soccer Challenge at St. Margaret Mary School received a major professional boost yesterday, courtesy of local indoor soccer stars from the Empire Strykers.

Strykers players Justin, Tony, and Zaha traded the turf of the Major Arena Soccer League for the school field, spending the day interacting with young participants, sharing expert technical pointers, posing for photos, and signing autographs. The event, designed to promote athletic skill and community sportsmanship, reached a thrilling climax when the pros jumped right onto the pitch to play a casual scrimmage with the students.

The impact of the professional athletes’ presence was immediately felt across the school community. Mr. Senn, the principal of St. Margaret Mary School, shared that his own son competed in the challenge and could not stop talking about the unforgettable experience of playing alongside real professional athletes.

"Our players brought incredible energy and inspiration to the field," said Tyler, representing the Empire Strykers' front office. "Community outreach is a foundational pillar of the Strykers organization. Seeing the joy on the kids' faces and hearing the feedback from families makes these events incredibly meaningful for everyone involved."

The day built lasting goodwill ahead of a highly anticipated fall schedule. Families and community members from the Knights of Columbus Council #15339 are already planning their next big outing: a group trip to support the Empire Strykers at their upcoming "El Clashico" match on November 8th.
