Getting to Know Alexia Pidolot
Behind every Empire Strykers match is an incredible amount of planning, coordination, and teamwork—and much of that responsibility falls on Director of Game Day Operations & Travel Logistics, Alexia Pidolot.
Since joining the organization in June 2025, Alexia has played a key role in making sure every detail is in place, from coordinating team travel to helping deliver a seamless game-day experience for players, partners, and fans alike.
For Alexia, a career in sports was almost inevitable. Having played soccer since she was three years old, she has always been passionate about the game and the positive impact it can have on people and communities. While studying Sports Management, she discovered a passion for event operations and logistics, making the Empire Strykers the perfect opportunity to combine both her personal and professional interests.
One of the things she enjoys most about her position is that no two days are ever the same.
"Depending on the time of year, I may be coordinating team travel, communicating with hotels and transportation providers, or leading Game Day Operations," Alexia explained. "It requires organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability every single day."
While fans experience the excitement for just a few hours on game day, Alexia knows the work begins long before the opening kickoff. Coordinating flights, hotels, transportation, schedules, arena setup, and countless moving pieces often becomes a round-the-clock responsibility throughout the season.
"Fans might be surprised by how much work happens outside of game day itself," she said. "Even when a home game is over, road games are right around the corner. There's always planning happening behind the scenes so the team can focus on performing at its best."
Despite the demanding schedule, seeing months of preparation come together is what makes the job worthwhile.
"I love seeing all the planning and preparation come together on game day and knowing that our work helps create memorable experiences for our supporters."
When asked about her favorite memories with the organization, Alexia found it difficult to narrow it down to just one. Every game day brings a sense of accomplishment, but a few moments stand out.
Helping at the Empire Strykers youth soccer camps remains one of her favorite off-season experiences, where she enjoyed seeing hundreds of young players learn the game, build confidence, and create lasting memories alongside the team.
During the season, however, one moment rises above the rest.
"Our very first game on November 28 against the San Diego Sockers was incredibly memorable," she said. "Seeing the team earn such an important victory made all of the hard work behind the scenes feel worth it."
Working within a smaller organization has also created an environment that Alexia values deeply.
"The Empire Strykers are a relatively small organization, which creates a close-knit environment. It often feels like a family."
That same family atmosphere extends beyond the arena and into the Inland Empire community through the club's many outreach initiatives.
"Sports have a unique ability to bring people together and make a positive impact beyond the game itself," she said. "Being involved in community initiatives allows us to inspire young athletes, connect with families, and create meaningful relationships. Those moments are some of the most rewarding parts of my job."
Looking ahead, Alexia is excited about the continued growth of both the organization and its impact throughout the region.
"The Empire Strykers have a passionate fan base and strong community connections," she said. "Watching the team continue to grow, compete for playoff spots, and chase championships is incredibly rewarding. There's no better feeling than seeing all the hard work from the players, coaches, staff, and supporters come together in those big moments."
She also wanted to leave one final message for the fans who make every game special.
"Thank you for your incredible support and passion. Your energy creates an amazing atmosphere and motivates everyone throughout the organization. Whether you're attending games, participating in community events, or following the team online, you are an essential part of the Empire Strykers family, and we truly appreciate you."
