Empire Welcomes Back Dr. Daniel Rivera as Official Team Dentist

Claremont-based healthcare provider will offer care to club’s players in 2026-27

Ontario, Calif. — The Empire Strykers today announced a partnership with Dr. Daniel Rivera, DDS, making the Claremont-based healthcare provider the club’s official team dentist for the upcoming Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) season. The agreement marks a return to the organization for Empire’s newest partner, who served in the same role when the Strykers were still known as the Ontario Fury.

As part of the revived relationship, Rivera will provide first-class dental care to the team’s players during the 2026-27 MASL season.

“We are very happy to be back with a great club like the Strykers,” said Dr. Daniel Rivera. “Their continued commitment to community outreach and creating a lasting positive impact makes this a partnership our entire team is proud to support.”

A Southern California native, Rivera graduated from USC in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science-Chemistry before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2005, graduating with honors in periodontics.

Rivera has practiced of his Claremont officev for over a decade, providing general and family services as well as a range of cosmetic and restorative options. He emphasizes accessible, comprehensive care in a patient-focused environment and is a member of the Tri-County Dental Society, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Academy of Laser Dentistry.

As part of the new agreement, Dr. Daniel Rivera becomes the official sponsor of the “Smile Cam” during MASL matches at Toyota Arena, along with other gameday activations. His practice will also host booths at Strykers youth soccer camps and will be prominently featured on the club’s website and social media.

“Having Dr. Rivera return to our organization is a natural fit,” said Empire Strykers Director of Corporate Partnerships, Billy Velto. “He has long-standing ties with this club, understands our efforts in the community, and shares our commitment to building meaningful relationships throughout the region. We’re excited to welcome him back and to see our players in trusted hands.”
