Baker’s Drive Thru and Empire Strykers Team Up to Support Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital

INLAND EMPIRE, CA — Baker’s Drive Thru and the Empire Strykers soccer team have officially joined forces in a powerful new community partnership, uniting local sports fans and food lovers for a vital cause: supporting children’s leukemia research and treatment at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH).

A Legacy of Giving

Baker’s Drive Thru has a deep, long-standing relationship with LLUCH. Through years of dedicated fundraising, the restaurant chain has already helped save the lives of local Inland Empire children and provided critical support to their families.

Throughout the summer of 2026, Baker’s ran a successful donation campaign allowing guests to round up their totals to the nearest dollar or donate 50 cents at checkout—whether ordering in the dining room, at a kiosk, or rushing through the drive-thru.

Uniting for the Inland Empire

When Baker’s discovered that the Empire Strykers shared the exact same passion for LLUCH, the two local staples decided to collaborate to close out the summer fundraiser on a high note.

The partnership came alive during a special Rise & Give Live Remote broadcast with KVCR. The Empire Strykers brought out starting player Monouir and assistant coach Chuy to engage with fans, help create exciting digital content, and go on-air with KVCR to share exactly why supporting the children's hospital matters so much to the team. The event successfully brought the community together through collaboration, shared goals, and fun giveaways.
